Apple Cider Syrup

1/2 Cup Spiced Apple Cider Concentrate

1/4 Cup water

2 Tbsp. butter

Combine ingredients in a small sauce pot and simmer for a few minutes on the stove. Refrigerate any leftover syrup.

1 Gala apple cut into 1/4 inch slices

2 Tbsp butter

1 Tbsp brown sugar

1/4 Tsp Cinnamon


3 Large eggs at room temperature

3/4 Cup whole milk at room temperature

1 Tsp vanilla extract

3/4 Cup all purpose flour

1/4 Tsp kosher salt

1/2 Tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 425 F

Mix together the eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, flour until smooth

In a cast iron pan, melt 2 tbsp. of butter and saute the apples with cinnamon and brown sugar until slightly soft. Set apple mix aside for later.

Clean the cast iron pan and put in the hot oven for 10 minutes to preheat.

When pan is hot add 2 tbsp. of butter to the pan and swirl around.

Add the apple mixture to the pan followed by the batter.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
