Spiced Cider & Walnut Pie

For the Crust

1 1/4 cup flour

1 Stick of butter cut into 1/2 inch chunks

3 Tbsp Ice Water

With your fingers or a pastry cutter, blend the butter into the flour until it resembles a course meal. Add 3 tbsp. of ice water and work the dough until it forms a solid ball. Use more water if dough is still dry. Form the dough into a disk, cover in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour before rolling it out.

For the Filling

1 Cup Spiced Apple Cider Concentrate

1 1/2 Cups walnuts
3 Eggs
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1/3 Cup maple syrup or brown sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
Pie crust

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Toast the walnuts for 8-10 minutes and roughly chop
Mix all ingredients well and pour into pie crust
Bake for 45 minutes or until set

Cool for at least an hour before serving

Serve with vanilla ice cream
